When you see a service dog calmly walking beside someone in a store, it might look simple. But behind that moment are months, often years, of intentional training, deep trust, and life-changing purpose.
At Walk Forward, we don't just train dogs. We build relationships that allow individuals with disabilities, trauma, or mental health challenges to reclaim their independence. And that starts by understanding that service dogs aren't just well-behaved pets; they are working professionals.

They are trained to assist with essential tasks like alerting to anxiety, retrieving medications, or interrupting self-harm behaviors. Each dog is trained in real-world environments, such as stores, airports, doctors' offices, and other similar settings.
